The Rules
it’s not the traditional bracket that everybody else does… this is a player’s pool. The rules are below...

Each participant selects 10 players to comprise their "team."
The team with the most points scored in the whole tournament wins.
Of the 10 players, five must fill the positions G, G, F/C, F/C, G/F/C. These five players are your "starting five" players. You're stuck with them for the whole tournament.
NOTE: Position eligibility is determined by the roster on the school's official website or a team's roster on ESPN.
Players 6 through 9 (four total players) are selected without regard to position or team seed. Your 10th player must be from a 14, 15, or 16 seed.
Players on teams playing in any of the "First Four" games are not eligible to earn points for that game.
After the first weekend of the tournament (1st and 2nd round), you will be able to replace up to two players in your six through nine group. You can replace them if they lost or if they're still alive. But, again, you're stuck with your "starting five." You can't replace any of them.
After the second weekend (Sweet 16 and Elite 8), you can, for the second time, replace up to two players in your six through nine group.
After this point, your team is set for the rest of the tournament.

The team with the most cumulative points at the end of the tournament is the winner.

NOTE: The scoring system consists solely of points. Rebounds, assists, etc. mean nothing. Just as in life, the only thing that matters is who scores the most.

HINT! Because this doesn't involve a draft, and each person picks their own team, the same player will likely end up on multiple teams. This is fine. A lot of the strategy involved in this pool is deciding who you put in your starting 5, versus who is on your 6-9.
